On average nearly 50% of emails 'from' my personal domain are spoofed. DMARC/DKIM/SPF stop them. What's your percentage?
On average, nearly 50% of emails sent from my personal domain are spoofed - created by attackers pretending to be me. Fifty percent. On Thursday, this was a whopping 97% (see screenshot).
One day nearly all mail claiming my domain was spoofed.
I'm using DMARC/DKIM/SPF, so nobody received these spoofed emails. Are you? If you're not, you're either at risk of being phished/scammed or unwillingly contributing to others being phished/scammed.
After setting up DNS, I send DMARC aggregate reports to a monitoring service. dmarcian and EasyDMARC both do this; several plans are free for one personal domain. Pick one and actually look at the reports - that is how you see the spoof rate instead of guessing.
